As a Marketing Product Manager, Jacqueline de Witte is the link between the market and the product. She investigates market trends, what the market needs and wants, and how we can turn these wishes into a product.

“Whereas our marketing department works on actually marketing products, I’m at a slightly deeper level, as I also work on deciding whether, how and where we’ll ultimately make a product. I’ll pass on simple customer feedback to the production development department right away, but in larger projects, I’ll explore ways to give the product a wider launch.”

"When we all put our potato-loving hearts into something, we can make beautiful things happen."

“When people ask me where I work, my response is always the same: Aviko, yeah the chip company. What many people don’t know is that you can do a whole lot more with potatoes. I didn’t know how much potential potatoes had before I came to work here either.

I’m proud of everything we’re doing for the future. We’ve started emphasising lesser known products and they’re gradually starting to grow, which has a major impact on the market. I think our gratin, for example, is fantastic! It’s a luxury product that, for many restaurant owners, is very time-consuming to make. Our gratin makes their lives easier whilst also allowing them to serve a delicious product.”
